In a move blending craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology, furniture brand Wood Bros has joined OV25, Orbital Vision’s "revolutionary" 3D product configurator.
Wood Bros, one of Orbital’s longest-standing clients, has trusted the team for years to create high-quality still product cut-outs and lifestyles of its collections. Now, the supplier has embraced a fully digital future, "unlocking the power of real-time customisation, live pricing, and immersive online experiences through OV25", says Orbital, whose team built and uploaded just under 100 of Wood Bros’ upholstered models, paired with 210 fabric options.
Customers can now visualise almost any model in any fabric variation, all from one interface. As different fabric options carry different price bands for Wood Bros, the pricing dynamically updates with every selection, eliminating delays and guesswork from the buying journey.
"What was once impossible can now be done in seconds," says Orbital. "Customers can rotate products in full 360 degrees, switch between materials instantly, and interact like never before.
"While Wood Bros don’t offer a bespoke design service and haven’t changed the way they produce or sell their furniture, the introduction of OV25 transforms the customer experience. Customers feel more involved – almost as if they’re creating a one-of-a-kind piece tailored just for them.
"Wood Bros’ adoption of OV25 marks a powerful shift – not just in how their products are presented, but in how customers interact with and purchase furniture. It’s a move that reflects their commitment to both tradition and innovation.
"As OV25 continues to evolve, with features like AI-generated lifestyle imagery, animated models and advanced analytics on the horizon, the value only increases.
"Wood Bros is already seeing the benefits – and they’re just getting started. For manufacturers and retailers ready to elevate their visual offering and accelerate sales, now’s the time to follow their lead. OV25 is transforming the way furniture is sold – and the future is live," concludes Orbital.
