Gallery Direct launches Hudson Living Collection

Following its recent purchase of high-quality furniture manufacturer Frank Hudson, Gallery Direct launched its new Hudson Living Collection at the May Design Series furniture show in May. This new range complements the existing Gallery products and offers a variety of styles to suit every type of room.

The collection includes the Brooklyn range. With concrete resin tops and solid European oak bases, Brooklyn exudes urban cool. This fashionable modern look is on trend, but still sits at ease in a classic room interior. The pieces are functional, yet express attitude, with distinctive quality and style. The collection includes a variety of differently-sized tables and a tall open display.

In contrast to the Brooklyn collection, the Cotswold range is a modern twist on a country home classic. It is made using melia ash solids with cast-iron collars, and the grain is brushed out and finished in a matt patina. The range of tables and tall open display will add a timeless quality to any living room.

Urban Chic is a black ash collection of occasional pieces based on a classic design with a modern updated style and shape. The matt black ash is brushed-out grain, and the sleek, simple lines give this collection an impressive contemporary feel.

Frank Hudson is renowned for its market-leading beds and complementary furniture. The purchase of the brand will enable Gallery to offer an even deeper range of high quality furniture and home decor. Using the expertise across the two businesses, Gallery will develop new collections and styles – especially in high quality furniture and textiles – to appeal to a range of different markets.

A new textiles collection is currently being developed for launch at the Autumn Fair International in September. 200 new items will be added to the catalogue, including cushions, throws, draft excluders and high-quality Egyptian cotton bedlinen.
