Swyft, the UK-based furniture brand known for its easy-to-assemble sofa designs, has announced its official launch in the Republic of Ireland, marking the next step in its European expansion strategy.
Since launching in 2019, Swyft's rapid-assembly offer has grown fast. In 2024, the company fulfilled over 30,000 orders and achieved +13% YoY revenue growth.
Following its expansion into Germany earlier this year, Ireland felt like the natural next step, says Keiran Hewkin, Swyft's founder and CEO: "We kept getting asked by people in Ireland when we were launching - and it’s finally happened.
"We started Swyft to inspire people to create beautiful homes, and we believe furniture should be effortless, timeless, and a true reflection of who you are. Ireland is a perfect fit for our vision and growth plans.”
Swyft’s full product range is now available to customers across Ireland, with delivery times currently slightly longer than in the UK due to shipping logistics. However, Swyft aims to reduce this by holding stock locally - while still offering competitively fast delivery in the meantime.
Looking ahead, Swyft is planning for nearly +100% SKU growth in 2025, and is exploring partnerships with Irish retail stores, mirroring successful collaborations with John Lewis & Partners and over 20 independent retailers across the UK.
“At Swyft, we don’t believe furniture should be restrictive, it should enhance the spaces we live in,” Keiran adds. “We’re excited to bring our vision and range to Ireland and help more people create spaces they love, faster and with less hassle.”
