Home, garden and interiors brand Laura James has announced the appointment of Matthew Talbot as CEO.
Previously COO for four-and-a-half years, Matthew has led the company to more than double in size while delivering a significant increase in NPS and profitability, strengthening operations, supply chain, IT, customer services, finance, HR, product development, merchandising and marketing.
He previously worked for OKA, Neptune, and Hotel Chocolat in head of and director roles, and has over 30 years of experience in change management and business improvement.
As CEO, Matthew will focus on sustaining profitable growth while elevating the Laura James brand and customer experience, says the business: "He will support the buying and merchandising function to offer a depth of product that is not only modern and stylish but delivers quality and purpose.
"In addition, Matthew will be streamlining supply chain and operations for speed, quality and resilience, investing in technology, data and talent to enable the next phase of multichannel growth and building on a culture where talented people thrive."
