Irish retailer launches new TV ad campaign

Irish sofa retailer Sofatime has launched a new TV advertising campaign, which it says is "built around one simple truth – when a sofa feels truly comfortable, it can make you feel at home the moment you sit down".

The campaign brings this idea to life through three stories that capture the everyday comfort moments customers experience when they find the right sofa. Each advert follows a customer becoming so immersed in the comfort of a Sofatime sofa that they momentarily forget they are still in the showroom, before being gently brought back to reality by a Sofatime sofa expert (pictured).

The campaign, which was developed in partnership with The Hype Factory, reflects Sofatime's continued focus on helping customers find sofas that suit the way they live. Since launching in 2012, the family-owned business has grown to operate 11 stores across Ireland, offering a wide range of sofas backed by a 15-year guarantee.

"The campaign captures a feeling many people recognise – sitting on a sofa and instantly imagining it in their own home," says Gail Warke, marketing manager at Sofatime. "We wanted to bring those familiar moments to life in a way that is warm, relatable and memorable. At Sofatime, we are passionate about helping customers find a sofa they will enjoy for years to come, and this campaign reflects the comfort, quality and customer service that have become central to our brand."
