Supporting its strategic ambitions and a growing international presence, Hypnos Contract Beds has become Hypnos Beds International.
As the bedmaker focuses on growth across its key channels of consumer, hospitality and design, both at home in the UK and with its partners globally, it is formalising its group naming structure, with the parent company Keen & Toms Partnership changing to Hypnos Beds International Group Ltd.
While Hypnos Ltd, the group’s main operating business, remains the same, Hypnos Contract Beds Ltd, which focuses on delivering for hospitality and international customers, will change to Hypnos Beds International Ltd, creating a unified group.
The change of names for the British bedmaker closes a period of restructure and its move to investment, as the company continues to build partnerships in the UK and across worldwide hospitality and retail markets. Alongside recent hospitality projects including The July London Victoria, as well as the Côte d’Azur’s Zannier Île de Bendor, Soho House Tokyo and The Ned in Doha, Hypnos has strategic international retail partnerships in the US, UAE, South Korea, Africa and Europe.
The company’s UK retail operations as Hypnos Ltd remain unaffected, with the change applying only to contract and international customers. As the change aligns with strategic direction as opposed to operational shifts, its company UK registration number, UK VAT and bank details remain unchanged.
The website will transition from hypnoscontractbeds.com to hypnosbedsinternational.com, and with all hypnoscontractbeds.com email addresses available at hypnosbeds.com or hypnosbedsinternational.com.
Hypnos' group MD David Baldry says: "Throughout the course of the last two years, our business has demonstrated robustness and resilience in the domestic market despite challenging political and macro-economic climates. The same period has also seen us focus on growth by targeted commercial and export strategies. Changing to Hypnos Beds International for these parts of our business better represents our current and future strategic ambitions for contract and international markets to be a significant driver for growth."
