FIRA and the Furniture Makers skydive for charity

Brave members of staff from FIRA and the Furniture Makers are preparing for their first skydive on 4th May. The event is in aid of the only charity supporting the furnishing industry - the Furniture Makers (incorporating the Furnishing Industry Trust), with a target of £10,000.

There are 20 people taking part in the event, including FIRA’s COO, Phil Reynolds. He says: “This my first ever parachute jump, and it did take a little bit of persuading from FIRA council member and liveryman at the Furniture Makers, Andy Corbett, who has done a few skydives before, to get me to  sign up. We have raised £5,927.85 so far and our target is £10,000. Please help us reach our target to help a really worthwhile cause and to recognise my extreme bravery by taking part!”

The jump, from around 13,000ft - approximately two miles high – will take place from Beccles Airport in Suffolk on Saturday 4th May.

To support your adventurous industry colleagues and to help those in need in the industry please give generously here.
