Sofamaker opens for in-house event this May

Sofamaker Whitemeadow, and its sister company, The Branded Furniture Company, will open its showroom next month for a four-day event, where the manufacturer will showcase new and existing ranges in an array of fresh looks, "with current trends very much in mind".

Dan Oscroft, sales director at Whitemeadow, says: “In a year which many have forecasted to be tough from a sales perspective, we know how important it is for our retailers to have a strong shopfloor line-up of trend-driven, commercial upholstery. So, off the back of our success in January [at the January Furniture Show], we’ve again moved quickly to develop some exciting new looks that tap into the latest trends in home interiors.”

The Branded Furniture Company will unveil the latest additions to its exclusive Orla Kiely collection, in a freshly renovated studio.

Jamie Bourn, head of brands at The Branded Furniture Company, says:.“The Orla Kiely range has been incredibly successful since its launch in 2019. Now heading into its fifth year, and with the brand themselves as strong as ever, we felt it was the perfect moment to inject a host of newness into the collection. This launch really provides a huge lift to the range, with some fantastic new pattern developments, authentic pops of Orla Kiely colour and mid-century modern shapes that we’ve no doubt will excite consumers and retailers alike.”

The event is open only for current retail partners (who should notify a sales agent beforehand) and will take place from 9-12th May, coinciding with the nearby Long Point show, at Whitemeadow's Orchard Way showroom in Sutton In Ashfield.
