For the first time in three years, online marketplace for bricks-and-mortar boutiques, Trouva, held a live awards ceremony to recognise the best of its independent retail community.
The awards honour new successes across categories such as the Boutique of the Year, Top Curator and In-store Superstar. The ceremony took place at the HQ of last year's Boutique of the Year winner Wild Swans in Islington, and hosted by Richard O’Gorman of @househomo.
Orla Knight, Trouva's VP of supply, says: “The awards give us a chance to pause and celebrate the success, creativity and perseverance of the brilliant businesses in our community, and I want to congratulate every single one of them. The last year has been challenging for so many independent businesses, and being able to host the awards in real life this year makes it extra special for Trouva and our community.”
The seven award winners were chosen from the 800 in the marketplace's community for outstanding performance in their respective categories. but the decisions are informed by data collected by Trouva, customer feedback and votes from fellow boutiques.
