Dreams returns to Taunton

Dreams, together with its luxury bed and furniture brand, Feather and Black, returned to Taunton after a 10-year absence this week.

Following a lengthy search, Dreams settled on the single-floor store on Riverside Retail Park, off the M5, creating five new jobs in sales consultancy.

To celebrate the store’s opening, customers received a product discount on the opening weekend, Taunton’s Mayor, Councillor Susan Lees, led the official ribbon cutting, alongside store manager, Mark Warriner, divisional manager, Douglas Truesdale, and CMO, Jo Martin.

Jonathan Hirst, CEO of Dreams, says: “At Dreams, we are continuing to grow our bricks-and-mortar network, and we’re thrilled to be opening another omnichannel store, to offer customers both Dreams and Feather & Black products. With our next-closest store around 20 miles away, we can now provide customers in the Taunton area with a fantastic product range in an easily accessible location.”

Mark Warriner adds: “We are excited to open the doors to our new Dreams store in Taunton and can’t wait to welcome customers from the local area. Our team of advisors will be on hand to offer advice, support, or guidance - from choosing the right mattress, using our Sleepmatch technology, to recommending beautiful bedframes and storage solutions.”
