Bedmaker receives HR accreditation

Harrison Spinks has been awarded Investors in People’s 'We invest in people' standard accreditation, after demonstrating its leadership and management practices, and motivating and supporting its employees to perform at their best.

Recognised throughout 75 countries, the accreditation means principles and practices around supporting people are in place, and everyone understands how to use them to make work better.

Claire Burns, director of people and talent at Harrison Spinks, says: “Harrison Spinks believes its people make the difference between a good performing company and a worldwide leading company. We have developed some positive people initiatives over the last four years and wanted to see if we could reach the Investors in People accreditation standard. Our people have been surveyed and interviewed and given their honest feedback on our efforts to date, and we will now strive to reach the highest level of accreditation by ensuring all of our people practices are of the highest standard.

“Innovation is key to our business, so we now include this in people practices to ensure continuous improvement to drive sustainable results for Harrison Spinks.”

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, adds: “We’d like to congratulate Harrison Spinks. Being accredited with 'We invest in people' is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places the bedmaker in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
