Bensons for Beds is opening a new store in Colindale, North London, as part of a transformation programme initiated last year.
The retailer has taken a lease at Unit 4, Colindale Retail Park, in The Hyde, Edgware Road, NW9, where neighbours include Carpetright, Matalan and Go Outdoors. It has 8300 sqft of space on the ground floor and mezzanine, and will employ six members of staff.
The store opens on Friday 27th August. Customers will benefit from an additional 10% off items bought over the opening bank holiday weekend.
The new-concept store has been designed to showcase the full range of beds and mattresses on offer from brands including Slumberland, iGel, Tempur and Sealy.
Bensons’ MD for retail, Alan Williams, says: “The new store is in a great location and will allow us to display our best ranges more effectively and make sure that customers make the right choice to help them sleep well and wake up in a good place.”
The store will be run by manager Mo Uddin, who has been with the business for three years in stores including Fulham and Dartford.
