Claudio Feltrin, CEO of designer furniture brand Arper, has been named president of FederlegnoArredo, the Italian trade association that represents the wooden furniture sector (some 73,000 companies and over 300,000 employees throughout the country).
The association is also behind trade fairs including Salone del Mobile.Milano, Salone del Mobile. Milano Moscow, and Salone del Mobile.Milano Shanghai.
Looking forward to his four-year presidency from 2020-24, Claudio says: "I ran for president of FederlegnoArredo because I'd like to bring forward ideas and initiatives that we truly believe in at Arper, which are heavily focused on sustainability and social responsibilities. For example, the creation of a supply chain network, skill training, digitalising and revisiting how we operate our businesses."
