Happy Beds, an independent bedroom and furniture retailer based in West Yorkshire, has been awarded Retail Campaign of the Year in the UK Biddable Retail Awards.
Happy Beds has worked with Liberty Marketing since 2017, and has achieved an +800% increase in annual revenue in just three years.
The furniture brand has used an innovative marketing strategy and the smart management of digital channels to compete against big-name competitors such as Dreams and Bensons for Beds, with mattress and bed sales rising YoY.
With other category winners including giffgaff, Taylor Wimpey and Three, the Biddable award is an acknowledgement of the brand's success. The judges said: “We felt this entry was an excellent example of using biddable media to drive performance and business transformation. We loved the approach to budget management taking a live feed on profit.”
Happy Beds focuses on SEO, PPC, digital PR, content and affiliate marketing in order to help boost traffic, clicks, brand awareness and revenue.
Gareth Morgan, MD of Liberty Marketing, says: “Using live stock data whilst knowing the profit margins across products and then spending money in this way meant we are always generating a high ROI and always pushing the items that need it the most.
"Mixing in a bit of automation (such as Smart Shopping) and layering in audiences (like In-Market and Affinity) has meant we've been able to achieve an ROI as high as 1300% some days. The agency we took it over from struggled to hit 400%.
