CIFF postponed due to coronavirus

The 45th CIFF Guangzhou and CIFM/interzum Guangzhou 2020, scheduled to take place across two phases from 18th-21st and 28th-31st March, are the latest events to be postponed due to the spreading coronavirus.

CIFF is one of the world's largest furniture trade exhibitions, with a growing emphasis on goods designed and made in China.

New dates will be notified in due course, states organiser China Foreign Trade Guangzhou/Exhibition General Corp.

The postponement follows announcements that Domotex asia/Chinafloor and the Shenzhen International Furniture Exhibition (SIFE) will also be rescheduled. Design Shanghai 2020 has been pushed back to 26-29th May, still at the Shanghai World Expo and Exhibition Convention Center.

Other events taking place in the Far East have stressed that their countries remain safe travel destinations. MIFF (Kuala Lumpur), for example, states that Malaysia's government has taken preventative measures, including the the suspension of immigration visas from Wuhei city and the surrounding Hubei province, plus the raising of protection measures according to WHO guidelines.
