Made opens first display apartment

Made.com has opened a display apartment above its new Amsterdam showroom, connecting both with a courtyard garden. The apartment features the original high ceilings and sash windows favoured in Amsterdam architecture, allowing Made to create an authentic apartment experience with its own design twist.

The brand says the location is ideal for instagrammers, and is furnished with stand-out Made pieces.

The apartment will host a series of events and workshops, as well as overnight stays.

Jo Jackson, Made's chief creative officer, says: “We wanted a space that we could invite people into - in the same way you would your own home - this apartment is the Made home. We kept a lot of the original personality of the building and gave it the Made treatment. That’s how most people curate their homes, with a mixture of pieces that make it true to them. Our aim is to create more spaces like this that give real context for our designs while being awesome locations that people want to visit.”
