La-Z-Boy UK has announced a new commercial director, head of marketing and head of independent sales, based at its head office in Maidenhead.

Mark Draper has been promoted to commercial director, responsible for all sales and marketing for La-Z-Boy in the UK and Ireland, following two years as the director of marketing and national accounts with the company.

He comments: “It’s fantastic to see the advances in brand awareness and customer perception of La-Z-Boy over the time I’ve been with the company and I’m delighted to have the opportunity to spearhead the future phases of the brand’s commercial developments in this territory.”

Newly appointed as head of sales for independents is Tristan Pyke, who will be working closely with the regional sales agents and high street stockists throughout the UK and Ireland. Tristan builds on six years of sales in the furniture sector with brands such as Calligaris, Alf Italia, Bontempi, Theca and Kler.
