Wayfair will open its first pop-up showroom in the UK for one day only, from 10am-8pm tomorrow (1st August) at 15 Bateman St Soho, London W1D 3AQ.

The online retailer promises that visitors will discover interior trends and free treats, and will have the chance to join a complimentary paper flower craft workshop.

“We’re so excited to open our first pop-up experience in the UK, which is a new avenue to grow awareness for Wayfair’s unique range and wide selection,” says Nadia McCowan Hill, resident style advisor, Wayfair. “The one-day-only showroom will offer a curated, trend-forward experience that is sure to delight local Londoners looking for an escape in their day, and is just one example of the unique ways we are continuing to transform how people shop for their homes.”

Within the two-story townhouse, Wayfair will unveil four expertly styled spaces, each representing a unique travel hotspot such as retro Palm Springs, or the wild Serengeti. The space was inspired by a +1500% increase in customers searching for travel-related furniture and decor this past year on Wayfair's website. All visitors will be able to browse and shop the look of each destination-themed room plus Wayfair’s millions of products for the home via iPads on site.

To celebrate the opening of the pop-up showroom, Wayfair is offering tomorrow's visitors the chance to win a £1000 voucher – prospective guests can register for free here.
