Whitemeadow, Britain's largest independently-owned upholstery manufacturer, has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Europe 2018.
To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their country peers.
Whitemeadow MD Ian Oscroft comments: “We are very proud to be included once again in the LSE’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Europe 2018 report. Our success of the past few years has been down to the fact that we’ve got a real flair for design and have been able to put some fantastic products, that consumers want to buy, into the marketplace at the right time.
"We drive the market, rather than respond to it. We will continue to shape consumer tastes by designing and manufacturing trend-setting British furniture with a contemporary twist. It’s the Whitemeadow way.”
Nikhil Rathi, CEO, London Stock Exchange Plc, adds: “The economic potential of Europe’s fastest growing companies is clear in 1000 Companies to Inspire Europe. The report shows high-growth SMEs are the innovators, job creators and drivers of economic growth. They have the potential to transform the European economy and give the next generation of young people the future they deserve."
