Whitemeadow, the largest independently-owned UK upholstery manufacturer, has been identified as one of London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2018.

This is the third inclusion for Whitemeadow in the report, which identifies the nation's fastest-growing and most dynamic SMEs. To be included in the list, companies need to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers.

Whitemeadow currently employs over 500 staff over six sites, all within a two-mile radius, covering over 170,000 sqft of manufacturing space.

Whitemeadow MD Ian Oscroft comments: “We are delighted to be included again in the LSE’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report. We have focused heavily on improving our infrastructure, from both a people and operative perspective. Investment in new production equipment such as CNC routers and automated fabric cutting machines have allowed us to increase output efficiency, whilst educating and encouraging career development of our employees has improved productivity. We look forward to continuing this progress.”
