La-Z-Boy UK has launched a new consumer-facing website to coincide with the release of its new Originals Collection for independents.

The site offers a modern feel, user-friendly interface, and responsive structure for optimal mobile performance.

It has been designed with an improved consumer experience in mind, and includes new features such as a frequently asked questions page and blog. This is the first phase in a long-term digital strategy.

“We have had loads of fantastic comments about the new-look website and how much fresher it looks,” MD Keith Wilson says.

“And importantly we have already seen significant improvements in traffic and user engagement, due to the mobile-friendly build and improved user experience.”

More than 70% of visitors to the site now use tablets or mobile phones to access it.

Phase two is due to begin in autumn, with plans for additional features for stockists.
