Feather & Black celebrates win at the Direct Commerce Awards

Luxury bedroom retailer Feather & Black has received the gold standard at the Direct Commerce Awards in the Home including Food & Drink category.

Now in its 19th year, the Direct Commerce Awards recognises business excellence for organisations engaged in direct to customer retailing across traditional and newly-emerging channels. They seek to celebrate the achievements of businesses of all scales and at all stages of development.

Feather & Black were praised on its “exceptional attention to detail across all brand elements” and the “polished work from a clearly passionate and experienced team.”

The judges were “impressed by the creative and how well it sells the range.” The smaller brand was seen as punching above its weight and seen as finding its place in the home furnishings market. Finally, the judges deemed Feather & Black “an aspirational brand worth discovering as it offers good products at an affordable price point.”

Laura Jackson, digital marketing manager for Feather & Black, says: “It was amazing to see Feather & Black recognised for the team’s hard work over the last year. We have been pushing the brand in new directions to compete in the rapidly growing and changing marketplace, to be noticed and awarded for that is a great achievement.”

The awards ceremony saw industry leaders descend onto The Hurlingham Club in Fulham last month for a lavish black tie event and a three course meal.
