Kindred Living strengthens customer and after-sales support teams

Kindred Living welcomes John Mallinson as installations manager, Alison Watson as sales and marketing administrator and promotes Jo Skillicorn to new business development administrator. This trio of appointments, which strengthens customer support and after-sales, takes the Kindred team to 12.

With over 30 years of industry experience, John’s background spans roles from time-served tradesman at advanced craft level to technical surveyor and worksite manager. Previously working at a well-known, nationwide, high-street retailer he was responsible for regional recruitment and more recently was regional installation manager across kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.

Alison joins Kindred following 12 years working in kitchen and bedroom retail and brings valuable customer insight and administration experience to the team. Alison takes over the role from Jo Skillicorn, on her promotion to dedicated new business development for the brand. Jo has extensive industry expertise, gained from 16 years in the KBB sector, in sales and factory management. She has also run her own business, designing and project managing the supply and installation of kitchens and bedrooms.

David Burchnall, director at Kindred Living, says: “Excellence in customer service is at the heart of Kindred Living’s ethos, it is paramount to our brand values and an area in which we will continue to invest. These appointments underpin our commitment to delivering exceptional support to our retailers, and their end consumers, at every step of the process. They will drive our ambition to become the independent sector’s preferred bedroom furniture supplier, with an installation service that aims to be the best in the industry.”
