Logistics specialist offers new furniture warehouse after refurb

Furniture logistics specialist Andrew Porter has completed an expansion and renovation project at its purpose-built warehouse in Lancashire.

The work has resulted in the offering of 4200 pallet spaces over a 35,000 square foot area, as well as a 20,000 square foot low bay warehousing area, which is now ready for occupation.

The site is equipped with a dock leveller and has been installed with new sky lights a new lighting system and repainted floors and walls.

On-site vehicle and trailer parking is available and the building offers Redcare alarm monitoring and CCTV coverage.

Managing director Tim Aspey says: “We’ve put in a lot of effort to meet or exceed the needs of our customers and we are really pleased with how the new space is looking.

“The space is ideal for manufacturers or retailers wanting services such as decanting of shipping containers, single pallet receipt, short or long term storage, or picking and packing.”

Andrew Porter Ltd has a fleet of more than 40 furniture vehicles and provides transport and distribution throughout the UK and Ireland.
