Dreams, the UK’s leading bed specialist, is hosting a companywide five-a-side football tournament in Stoke-on-Trent on Wednesday 22nd February to help raise funds for its charity partner, The Fostering Network.
At 11am on Wednesday, the teams will kick off a five-a-side football tournament in aid of the UK’s leading fostering charity, The Fostering Network. The teams are made up of Dreams employees from across the country and all departments have been invited to enter a team including employees from stores, head-office and distribution.
In 2016 Dreams nominated the UK’s leading fostering charity, The Fostering Network, as its chosen charity to receive all money raised from various charity events throughout the year. Following the announcement of the partnership, a number of fundraising initiatives have taken place to help raise money. Most notably, last August, 12 Dreams staff members took part in a sponsored cycle ride led by CEO, Mike Logue. The ride saw the group cycle 88 miles and visit eight Dreams stores in one day. So far, Dreams has raised over £50,000 for The Fostering Network.
Spectators are welcome to the tournament for an entrance donation of £5.
