Vesna Pavletić, the CEO of mattress brand Biocrystal Technologies, has won a Stevie award for Women in Business, in a category Innovator of the Year.
She received the award thanks to the invention of Biocrystal, a material innovation which was created in a co-operation with a team of scientists and promises to encourage health and energy .
The Stevie Award was established in 2002 in the US to recognise the efforts of businesswomen around the world. More than 1400 nominations from organisations of all sizes across virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, and were judged by a committee of 160 international professionals.
“The Stevie award is a great acknowledgment of the years of hard work that we brought to the development of Biocrystal technology," says Vesna. "It turned out that our innovation changes the direction of thinking – but also the further development – of the bedding industry, and many other industries where the application of Biocrystal is possible."
