Jysk has announced that it plans to open its first stores in Belgium in April 2017. The retailer expects to open around 50 stores in Belgium in the years to come, and its country manager in Holland and Belgium, Frank Christant, is looking forward to adding these stores to the 84 stores located in Holland today.
“Jysk has become very popular in Holland, and I hope that this will also be the case in Belgium," he says. "I feel that Jysk can really contribute to the market and offer something new to Belgian consumers – not only through our assortment, but through our approach towards customers and customer service as well.”
Jysk operates through more than 2300 stores in 41 countries. When it opens in Belgium, the chain will have stores in every major European country.
