Mammoth's newest appointments

One of the UK's fastest growing mattress and upholstery brands, Mammoth, has bolstered its team with two new appointments. Strengthening its senior management team, Anthony Finegan - a former financial controller of Barker & Stonehouse - has joined as commercial director, and Emma Foster as office co-ordinator.

Anthony has acted as a finance consultant for Mammoth since it first launched. With record sales noted every month of 2016 and new product lines being rolled out this summer, he recently took the step to become full time for the company to support business growth.

Anthony managed the implementation of a number of efficiency projects at Barker & Stonehouse. He will now look to do the same across Mammoth's growing furniture range from the business' headquarters in Newcastle. His responsibilities will include the consolidation of the existing business, supporting new business developments, incorporating business improvements and ensuring optimum financial and operational performance through key suppliers and retail partners.

Anthony says: "I knew from the moment I first heard about the Mammoth concept and met Mammoth's founder, John Tuton, in 2008, that there was a niche in the market for the technologies he was championing. Through my own experience of the furniture industry at Barker & Stonehouse it was clear that Mammoth's healthcare background offered something that customers wanted but couldn't find elsewhere."

Emma has joined the team as office co-ordinator. She will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the office, and will offer sales team support, account management, assist accounts and finance, as well as acting as a PA to MD, John Tuton.
