Top Furniture joins The Furniture Ombudsman

Top Furniture, an oak dining furniture specialist with retail outlets in Staffordshire and Kent, has joined the industry ombudsman to show its ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction.

The Furniture Ombudsman specialises in providing Alternative Dispute Resolution solutions for consumers and retailers in the furniture and home improvement industries. It also aims to raise standards and inspire consumer confidence.

Dave Edwards, director for Top Furniture, says: “We realise that during these difficult economic times, customer service matters more than ever for a retail business. This is why we decided to join The Furniture Ombudsman, to give our customers that little extra reassurance that they often need when making a large purchase. We invest a lot of time and resources into customer service and are currently working extra hard to get customers to give us their feedback via online reviews with Review Centre and Freeindex. Joining the Ombudsman was a natural progression for us as we strive to be one of the leading UK retailers for oak tables and chairs.”

Jon Walters, service delivery manager for The Furniture Ombudsman, says: “It is always pleasing when a retailer wishes to highlight their responsible business practices, and we are therefore delighted to welcome Top Furniture as members of The Furniture Ombudsman. Our key aims are to inspire consumer confidence and help raise industry standards, and our ability to achieve these increases with each business that becomes a member of our service.”
