Hosted at the start of the year, imm cologne is a key date in the interiors calendar, offering the trade new product launches from around the world.

From 13-19th January 2020 at Koelnmesse, Cologne, visitors will discover a fair divided into themed areas, organised by product.

Following the successful introduction to the Pure segment of new themed areas such as Pure Editions and Pure Atmospheres, imm cologne 2020 will see the restructuring of the northern area, which will be known as Home.

“Today, success is the result of innovative ideas," says Matthias Pollmann, Koelnmesse’s vice-president of trade fair management. "With the new concept, we’re boosting the trade fair’s function to offer orientation and transparency. Thanks to our array of exhibitors, we are able to cover the full range on offer in the interior design sector and give an overview of the market that is uniquely diverse in terms of product spectrum and furnishing styles. The international interior business event imm cologne is the platform for interior design and the interiors business.”

The new Home hub will be divided into three main areas – Home Sleep, Home Scenes and Home Settings: Home Sleep in hall 9 will represent products and concepts designed to support good sleep; Home Scenes will present over 1000 lifestyle-oriented ideas, including cabinet and upholstery in halls 5.2, 6, 10.1 and 10.2; and across halls 4.1, 5.1, 5.2, 7 and 8, Home Settings aims to offer options for young lifestyles and those fitting out a home for the first time, including specialist lines, household accessories and self-assembly furniture.

With Touch by imm cologne, the fair aims to guide the world of interior design into a new digital era, drawing visitors’ attention to new and future markets (in the northern boulevard) – while Pure will present avant-garde international designs in various themed areas: Pure Atmospheres; Pure Editions and Pure Architects.
