The 21st edition of Heimtextil Russia, taking place from 17-19th September at IEC Crocus Expo, Moscow, promises to be a useful meeting point for the industry professionals seeking home textiles, floorcoverings and interior furnishings.
"Many companies from the industry of home and contract textiles consider participation in Heimtextil Russia as a very effective way to present new collections, enlarge clients’ geography and make profitable contracts," says Eugen Alles, MD of organiser Messe Frankfurt RUS. "Foreign manufacturers make up around 60% of Heimtextil Russia annually. The trade fair helps them to enter the Russian market and not only to start supplyingtheir own finished products, but also to become suppliers of raw materials to Russian manufacturers.”
National pavilions from Germany, Turkey, China, Pakistan have confirmed their participation. This year the trade fair will also feature national pavilion of India, as well as the European pavilion, including companies from Italy, Portugal, France, etc.
Traditionally, Heimtextil Russia presents a full range of home and contract textiles, divided into 12 product groups, including bedroom textiles, bathroom textiles, kitchen textiles, window decoration, furniture fabrics, carpets and floorcoverings, and fabrics for interior decoration.
A separate exposition of carpet and floorcovering manufacturers from all over the world will demonstrate hand-made carpets for home interiors, as well as machine-made carpets and floorcoverings for commercial premises. Another separate show is devoted to all types of textile technologies, from sewing, cutting and ironing machines to digital print machines and software.
Each year, Heimtextil Russia attracts over 17,000 textile specialists from all regions of Russia and the CIS countries. At this edition, Heimtextil Russia is preparing an extensive programme of accompanying events, involving all segments of the fair's visitors, and including trend talks, guided tours, business matchmaking opportunities and design awards.
