The 44th edition of CIFF Shanghai came to a close at the NECC in Hongqiao on 11th September, having attracted a record numbers of exhibitors and visitors – 150,766 professionals from China and abroad visited the 1500-plus companies present, and took part in more than 40 conferences, forums, and themed events.
Organised by China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition General Co and China Foreign Trade Macalline Exhibition Co – an alliance of exhibition and shopping mall – CIFF Shanghai's collaboration with Chinese and international media and trade associations has helped it attract more select groups of buyers, interior designers, architects and real estate developers.
CIFF Shanghai 2019 represented the entire furniture supply chain, covering all home furniture sectors (with a focus on Chinese design and international production), outdoor furniture, home decor, furnishing fabrics, office and machinery for the furniture industry.
The presence of an increasing number of foreign exhibitors is confirming CIFF’s role as a strong platform from which to enter the increasingly wealthy and demanding Chinese market, while meeting buyers from the key global markets.
Meanwhile, an updated layout, the constant improvement of services and the creation of VIP areas dedicated to matchmaking all contributed to making CIFF Shanghai 2019 another memorable edition.
New initiatives are in the pipeline for next year's CIFF Shanghai, which will take place from 7-10th September. In the meantime, CIFF Guangzhou will run across two phases from 18th–21st and 28-31st March.
