The UK’s largest home and gift marketplace, Spring Fair, will take place from 3rd-7th February at the Birmingham NEC, and promises to offer retail professionals a first look at some of the hottest new products …

Spring Fair will offer retail buyers unrivalled scale, variety and choice, says the event’s outgoing MD, Louise Young: “Visitors to Spring Fair will have unmatched access to the newest products and trends taking hold in 2019, across our 16 carefully edited show sectors. 

“As always, we’ll be bringing together the most innovative products and the creative thinking of the trade, to have a real impact on the financial success of both retailers and exhibitors. For the home and gift industry, it’s an event not to be missed!”

With the largest homewares offering in the UK, Spring Fair 2019 represents a unique offering for interior designers and home retailers. Exhibiting in Hall 1 will be Coach House, Clarke & Clarke, Hill Interiors and Pacific Lifestyle, to name just a few – plus new brands including Vida Living and Native Lifestyle, and one of the largest finished product selections across textiles, soft products and linen collections in the UK, including Style Library, whose brands include Anthropologie and Harlequin.

Spring Fair will also embrace trends from across Europe, with international exhibitors including Light & Living, Authentic Models and Vossen.

Spring Fair’s collection of the latest hand-picked gift, lifestyle, interior and lighting brands, The Summerhouse, will feature the return of Bronte by Moon, One World and The Libra Company, plus new residents such as PTMD Collection, Vintage Garden Room and Vanilla Fly. 

Various features add further reasons to visit. The First initiative will give up-and-coming exhibitors a taste of the limelight, while DesignFirst, which promises the latest game-changing, original products, will make its Spring Fair debut.

Meanwhile, the Glee showcase will give garden retailers an opportunity to re-stock – exhibitors include handmade furniture and accessories supplier Riverco. 

Spring Fair will also host a number of theatre and workshop spaces, each of which will deliver a dedicated area of retail insight.

Retail is in a state of transformation, and the Main Stage at Spring Fair will offer new ideas and inspiration, with retail leaders sharing their insight into topical issues like Brexit, technology in retail, buying trends and the personal stories behind some of the UK’s well-loved brands.

The Studio at Spring Fair, meanwhile, will look at future trends from the fashion and luxury sector, champion emerging design talent, and tackle topical discussions.

New for 2019 is the Retail Skills Theatre, designed to help improve skill sets and provide advice on matters from product photography and packing to EPoS systems, fleet and freighting. With a range of workshops and sessions built with online and bricks-and-mortar retail in mind, visitors will be able to learn about everything from SEO and social media strategies, stock planning and post-Brexit currency management to in-store and online visual merchandising, and building an authentic identity.
