The FurnIstanbul global furniture show will premier in Turkey next year between 24-27th May. Organised by Atlantis Fair Inc, Furnistanbul is a unique event where furniture brands from Europe, The Americas and Asia will be able to promote their products not only to the Turkish market, but also to the surrounding countries, which often prove difficult destinations for global exporters. The show will also bring together Turkish furniture importers with leading designers, associations and international media through special events.

Turkey is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, and the countries surrounding it generally comprise emerging markets. Consequently, a great deal of interest has been expressed for Furnistanbul.

Furnistanbul's sales organisation is also very international, as is its board of advisers, which comrpises: Rodrigo Rodriguez (honorary president of UEA, Italy); Giulio Cappellini (designer, Italy); Jose M Menoyo (honorary president of AFEMMA, Spain); Joe Caroll (international marketing consultant, US); Renan Gökyay (designer, Turkey); and A Kadri Çoklar (vice-president of MOBDER, Turkey).

To date, the show boasts sales agents in many countries around the world - check the website for details.

The event has so far been promoted at 27 events across 13 countries, including its launch meeting in Milan last May. During the event, held in in Palazzo Giureconsulti, more than 70 well-known members of the Italian furniture industry were present.

Similar events will continue in different countries during autumn 2013.

Country-specific pavilions from Italy, Germany, Romania, Greece and Indonesia have been confirmed.

During Furnistanbul 2014, there will also be display areas allocated for design installations, the exposure of cultural events, furniture forums, contests and press events.

Furnistanbul will take place annually from 2014 at the Tuyap Exhibition and Congress Center, Beylikduzu, Istanbul.
