The Leisure & Outdoor Furniture Association's (LOFA) annual SOLEX exhibition, which returned to the NEC Birmingham earlier this month, proved another successful showcase of leading outdoor living products, with 41 of the exhibitors already signed up for next year's event, LOFA reports.
"This is an 82% rebooking rate and an excellent start, and shows that confidence in the show is still high," states LOFA.
SOLEX showcases new developments in outdoor design, environmental manufacturing, sustainability for the retail and contract markets.
"Alongside the freshness of the product ranges, there was a clear move towards calming, natural colour palettes, with soft greens, warm beiges and rich auburn tones creating beautifully inviting outdoor spaces," LOFA continues. "Plush cushions, modular seating, woven textures and contemporary outdoor kitchens sat comfortably alongside statement planters, elegant outdoor structures, innovative lighting, spas, barbecues, smokers and outdoor heating. Together, they reflected a growing trend towards stylish, comfortable outdoor living, where minimalist design delivers maximum impact.
"Throughout the three days there was a constant buzz as retailers, buyers and suppliers caught up, discussed the season ahead, explored new product launches and strengthened relationships that will continue long after the exhibition has closed. SOLEX has always been about bringing together the right people, and once again it delivered exactly that."
The show will return to the NEC Birmingham from 6-8th July next year.
