Visitors to the International Furniture Fair Singapore 2013/30th ASEAN Furniture Show (IFFS/AFS 2013), The Décor Show 2013 and The Hospitality Show 2013 can look forward to enjoying one of Asia’s premier design-led furniture and furnishings platforms in a new light. Held at Singapore Expo, from halls 3 to 8, the trilogy of shows will feature new elements, keeping things fresh and interesting for visitors.
New country pavilion
Country pavilions have always been a regular feature of IFFS. Each year, IFFS receives strong support from exhibitors hailing from China, India, Malaysia and Taiwan, as well as the ASEAN countries. The upcoming edition will see France added to the collection of country pavilions at the show.
Clement Ng, COO for event organiser IFFS Pte, says: “The new French pavilion indicates our growing sphere of influence, even in territories outside of our traditional reach. Increasingly, we’re seeing more exhibitors from outside the ASEAN region also paying attention to our show, which is a very positive indication.”
New exhibition category
The trilogy of shows also expands its scope by adding a new exhibition category. For the first time, The Hospitality Show will feature companies in a segment for Architectural & Design Services, which will take the design quotient of the show up a few notches.
New collections and exhibitors
Also noteworthy are key anchor tenants returning to IFFS 2013 to launch their new collections, with 14% of repeat exhibitors taking on larger stands this edition. At the same time, regular visitors to IFFS will still be ensured an invigorating experience, as more than 80% of exhibitors will present their designs for the first time.
Buying groups and delegations
A total of 740 buying groups and delegations from all over the world have so far registered their interest to visit the trilogy of shows.
