The next Women in Furniture Network (WIFN) panel, taking place at the upcoming January Furniture Show, will be built around the theme The Power of Shared Growth, and will feature industry leaders Deirdre Mc Gettrick (founder, ufurnish.com), Carey Pearson (head of brand and integrated marketing, Wayfair EU), Stella Gittins (co-founder, Accouter Group) and Natasha Shillingford (brand marketing director, La-Z-Boy International).
Organiser The Furniture Shows says: "This inspiring session will explore how women across design, retail, manufacturing and technology can share knowledge, open doors, and create collective progress across the furniture industry - perfectly aligned with the 2026 International Women’s Day theme.
"This is a brilliant opportunity to connect, be inspired, and hear from women actively shaping a more inclusive, collaborative future for our sector."
This expanded programme of networking and leadership discussion will, for the first time, feature dedicated speed mentoring sessions designed to support women at every stage of their furniture industry careers.
"Designed to encourage honest conversation, career guidance and shared learning, the sessions aim to make mentorship more accessible and actionable," says The Furniture Shows. "Mentors taking part include Fara Butt of Shire Beds and Jessica Alexander from The Furniture Makers’ Company, bringing expertise across manufacturing, leadership and professional development."
The panel discussion will take place from 13:00–15:00 on the Retail Revealed LIVE Stage on Monday 19th January, and will be followed by a champagne networking brunch.
