Original designs, bold ideas, and sustainable solutions that inspire interior spaces – especially in furniture – are set to come together in Istanbul at Furnishings & Design Istanbul (FDI), the only design fair in Türkiye and its surrounding countries, says its organiser, the Federation of Furniture Associations (MOSFED), which holds a seat on the Board of the European Furniture Industries Confederation (EFIC).
The fair will take place on 25-27th September 2025 at the Istanbul Expo Center, and promises to take a holistic approach to the world of interiors – from furniture and lighting to home textiles and decorative accessories.
Highlighting FDI’s unique role, MOSFED president Ahmet Güleç says: "At FDI, we don't just showcase unique interior designs – we present a vision, a set of values, and a strong stance. This fair, which places design at the heart of the industry, brings a new perspective to the exhibition world and creates a dynamic learning environment that embraces the future of the sector."
Ahmet invites brands, interior architects, designers, industry professionals and buyers to be part of this gathering.
FDI will this year be held across a 12,000 sqm exhibition area featuring "a special architectural design". In addition to eye-catching stands, the fair will offer exhibition zones, symposiums, experience areas, and Designer-to-Business (D2B) and B2B meeting points, creating a multi-layered structure.
"The fair aims to build strong and lasting bridges between different stakeholders in the industry and to move the sector forward by fostering a culture of collaboration," Ahmet concludes.
