Discover the latest from Long Eaton

Boasting over 30 local and guest exhibitors, this year’s spring Long Point will take place from 12-14th May in Long Eaton, the UK Centre of Quality Upholstery Manufacturing, reports the show’s organiser, the Long Eaton Guild of Furniture Manufacturers …

With a legacy spanning over 50 years, Long Point continues to be a cornerstone event for the furniture industry, bringing together top manufacturers, retailers and industry professionals in inviting and relaxed environments across the Derbyshire town.

Alongside these brands, guest manufacturers and importers will showcase a diverse selection of upholstery, cabinet furniture, bedroom furnishings and accessories – with over 30 manufacturers and suppliers occupying showrooms throughout the town.

Other exhibitors include Hartmann, Andrew Paul, Ashwood Designs, Contrast Upholstery, Alexander & James, Abode (formerly Fortune Woods), Ashley Manor, Couch & Co, At The Helm, Orbital Vision, Baker Furniture, Tamarisk, Carlton Furniture, Warwick Fabrics, G Plan, Hjort Knudsen, Kesterport, Mastersofa, Michael Tyler Upholstery, Violino, Wiemann and WEBS Training.

Location, location, location

Long Eaton, steeped in over a century of fine upholstery craftsmanship, provides an ideal backdrop for Long Point. Many of the showrooms are housed in historic buildings such as Harrington Mills, one of Nottingham’s premier lace-making hubs, built in 1885.

Today, these heritage spaces offer a unique and characterful setting for visitors to explore some of the finest in British furniture design, and more. Other show locations include Wade Exhibition Centre, Novotel Nottingham Derby, Westgate Suites and Westend Mills.

All are conveniently situated within a mile of the town centre, railway station, and J25 of the M1, ensuring ease of access. Visitors arriving by train can arrange transport to the showrooms by calling the event helpline in advance on 0115 973 4481, while street parking is available for those travelling by car.

Invitation to inspiration

Andrew Mitchell, chairman of the Long Eaton Guild of Furniture Manufacturers, highlights what makes Long Point a must-attend event: “Long Point enjoys the reputation of being the most enjoyable and relaxed furniture exhibition within the UK, and is the ideal vehicle for manufacturers and retailers alike to work together. A warm welcome awaits, so please come along and enjoy the show.”

Long Point takes place twice each year, in spring and autumn, with the next event scheduled for 15-17th September 2025. Industry professionals are encouraged to register their attendance for free via the guild’s website to secure their place at either event.
