Tendence to host eight expert lectures for retailers

Tendence, a leading trade fair for the Living and Giving sectors, held from 29th August to 1st September in Frankfurt, will offer trade visitors answers for every internet opportunity, strategy and best practice for online shops in the special lecture programme, Webchance Academy.

The line-up of eight expert lectures will present new impulses and sales and marketing techniques for the internet trade. The spectrum ranges from subjects such as increased sales and customer retention on the web, via legal aspects, to a look at the retail trade of tomorrow.

On saturday 29th August, Nico Zorn will discuss ‘Why your customers (do not) buy’, Holger Schaffer talks about ‘The experiential world of shopping in the future – on the basis of beacons’, while Bert Klingsporn discusses ‘E-commerce as an experience for customers: successful marketing and sales in a digital world’. Bringing the Saturday lecture schedule to a close, Tim Christopher Caesar enlightens trade buyers on ‘Legally compliant internet sales: how to avoid cease and desist letters’.

On sunday 30th August, trade buyers will find Dr Carsten Takac discussing ‘The strategic basis for successful e-commerce in the small-business sector’ and Dr Joachim Stoll offers ‘Tips and practical recommendations on the basis of practical experience of online retail’. Hannah Sondermann & Caroline Zöller discuss technology usage in stores with a lecture ‘Colourful monitors, shopping apps, i-beacons, etc. – the world is going digital!’ and finally, Tobias Jungcurt ends the discussions with ‘Performance Marketing – mobile, omni-channel & data driven as the forces powering change’.

The 45-minute lectures will be held in Hall 9.2 from 2-5pm on 29th and 30th August. Further information about the Webchance Academy lecture programme can be found here.
