Ercol has announced that David Finch is to take up the position of MD with immediate effect.
David previously held the role of ercol’s financial director, which he took up in the summer of 2016.
Chairman Edward Tadros says: “David knows our business very well and will lead an excellent team throughout the company, in which I have the greatest confidence. Ercol has weathered many storms in our 102-year history, but those of the last two have been exceptionally difficult.
"We have come through these challenging times a stronger and a better company, more determined to continue our course as a highly successful British company in furniture design and manufacturing."
Ercol’s state-of-the-art Princes Risborough factory recently featured on BBC Two’s Inside The Factory, which showcased the craftsmanship and skill that goes into the manufacture of the brand's iconic Windsor chair.
