JYSK celebrates opening of store 3000

JYSK hit the 3000 store mark with the opening of a new store in Rome on 12th February.

Located in the Da Vinci Village in Fiumicino, the biggest retail park in Italy, the store saw its grand opening postpone due to the pandemic, but on 18th May JYSK will 'reopen' it to mark reaching the milestone.

“Expansion has always been the foundation of JYSK, and we are really happy that we have now reached more than 3000 stores worldwide. That is a very important milestone, which we have been looking forward to celebrating with our Italian customers and colleagues,” says executive VP retail, Mikael Nielsen, who will participate in the reopening alongside country manager Cesare Bailo.

“In JYSK, we still believe that physical stores play a big role in modern retail, and we plan to open more than 200 new stores every year, with Italy being one of the countries that we want to put special focus on,” says Mikael.

JYSK operates in 51 countries.
