BFM Fabric Show postponed to 2022

The BFM Fabric Show, which was due to take place on June 8-9th 2021 at Twickenham, is to be postponed until February/March 2022.

After consultation with exhibitors, it was clear that the uncertainties surrounding international travel and easing of lockdown restrictions by the UK Government, together with uncertainties around the willingness of visitors to attend and increasing Covid-19 cases in Europe, substantially reduced the possibility of a successful show this year.

Commenting on the decision, Nick Garratt, MD of the BFM, says: “In the light of the current circumstances it makes sense to postpone the BFM Fabric Show this year. The majority of our exhibitors are based outside of the UK, and with cases rising in Europe, it looks increasingly likely that they wouldn’t be able to attend.

"There is still no certainty that lockdown restrictions will be lifted here by the beginning of June, it therefore makes sense to move the show to 2022 when we can have a full and well-attended event.”

The BFM will instead start planning for a 2022 show in its usual late February/early March slot.
