East Midlands-based bedmaker Breasley has appointed Wayne Nortjé as operations director.
Wayne joins the family-run company to oversee both its Wirksworth and Ilkeston sites. He brings experience and expertise in lean manufacturing to help Breasley drive forward its credentials as a modern manufacturing business, focusing on reducing waste and improving production efficiencies.
Joint MD Mike Crowshaw says: “We are delighted to welcome Wayne to Breasley. He has a wealth of experience in transforming manufacturing companies and has specific experience in bed manufacturing, having left his role at Hypnos to join us.”
Wayne adds: “I am looking forward to getting to know the team at Breasley and helping to take the business to the next level by improving manufacturing systems and productivity.”
Breasley has also appointed a new area sales agent for the South-east and Anglia, Andy Clarke. Mike comments: “Andy is an experienced and well-known bed agent with retail experience, having run his own business. He has already become a key member of our growing and valued team of experienced sales professionals.”
