Belgian bedding foam and spring manufacturer Latexco Group has appointed a new CEO, Lieven Vandendriessche.
Lieven has a master’s degree in business economics and over 25 years' experience in various industrial management positions. He started his career with a 15-year term at Deceuninck, where he took, amongst others, the role of business development director and VP of operations. Next, he entered the bedding sector as general manager Europe at Bekaert Deslee. Up to July this year, he was the MD of the carpets and tiles division at Balta Group.
Lieven says: “I am really looking forward to start with Latexco. First and foremost because Latexco is a family business, which allows us to really go for the long-term. Second, I see a lot of potential for growth, enabled by the recent investments. The bedding sector is in full transition, and I am convinced that Latexco holds a unique position that enables the company to emerge as a winner."
