New appointments at Breasley

Breasley Consumer Products has appointed Rob King as its new sales director. Rob has been with Breasley for the past seven years, primarily as the company's sales agent for the North London and East Anglia region. In his new position, he will head up the UK and Ireland sales team, focusing on the independents.

Rob boasts 21 years' experience in the bed business, starting out as a rep for Slumberland in 1995 before moving to Sealy and then Myers, where he was national sales manager before joining Breasley.

Darren Crowshaw, joint MD of the Breasley Group, comments: “Rob brings not only a great depth of experience to the post, but also a fresh approach and a different set of eyes. We are very much looking forward to working together in what is going to be a very challenging, but exciting time ahead.

"As Rob’s main responsibility will be developing sales with the indies, we have also created a new role within the company, that of key accounts manager, and we are very pleased to announce that Louise Chung will be taking up this position as from mid-January. We’re sure that her drive and passion for the business will be a huge asset for Breasley.”

Louise has extensive experience in the bed industry, having previously worked as head of sales for Matza & Co, and will be responsible for project management and business development on key accounts. She will be based at Breasley’s Manchester plant, where the company manufactures its premium Salus brand.

Customers will have the opportunity to meet the new-look Breasley sales team at the January Furniture Show (Birmingham NEC, 21st-24th this month) on stand 5-C20, where the company will be exhibiting its full product range plus a new boxed mattress offering.
