January Furniture Show's interior design partnerships

The 2018 January Furniture Show will have two prestigious interior design partnerships - the SBID (Society of British Interior Design) and a first-time show partnership with leading textile association, BITA (British Interiors & Textile Association). The partnerships will strengthen the links between the show and the interior design sector.

BITA will have its own stand and the partnership aims to raise the fabric and soft furnishings profile at the furniture event. The Fabric Pavilion branding will change to the Fabrics & Soft Furnishings Pavilion and will move to Hall 2, positioned at the top of the stairs from Hall 1 - a location which offers even more space to companies who wish to exhibit.

BITA director Diane Harding says: "The British Interiors and Textiles Association is delighted to support and promote the JFS Fabrics & Soft Furnishings Pavilion to its members and the Industry. Furniture, fabric, curtains, blinds and accessories are sourced together more than ever before and this will be a great opportunity to show the depth of variety in fabrics and soft furnishings available in the UK.”

There will be a new layout and new exhibitors in the Fabric & Soft Furnishings Pavilion including Canadian-based window dressing specialist Quantum Textiles, JLS Fabric Designers which supplies famed Thevenon’s luxury fabrics and the Mark Wilkins Agency which supplies high-end Spanish and French fabrics, including exclusive brands Guell La Madrid, Les Creations De La Maison and Panaz.

Details of the partnership with the SBID will be announced shortly.
