Feather & Black to open Cheltenham store next month

Leading bedroom furniture retailer Feather & Black is pleased to return to Cheltenham Spa, with a brand-new store just a stone’s throw from the bustling high street.

The luxury furniture brand will welcome visitors to browse the new, larger store, at 8-14 Portland Street, from Saturday 6th May 2017 onwards. The space will provide 3300 sq. ft. of quality beds, mattresses, bedroom furniture and accessories at an affordable price.

The company previously occupied Cheltenham House, but will now be based on Portland Street. The brand decided to relocate to the larger space after considerable growth over the last year following a relaunch of their website, which saw a 35% year-to-date increase of online sales.

Nicky Line, creative and product director at Feather & Black, says: “We are delighted to be bringing our store back to Cheltenham after shutting up shop in September 2016, we missed the regency spa town and its residents so much that we’re opening our doors once again.

“Following increased activity on our new website we wanted to expand our store presence across the UK. We understand that our target audiences have a considered approach when it comes to buying beds, therefore we want to make our stores even more accessible to our customers. Our previous Cheltenham store attracted a loyal fan base so we were keen to race back to the area.

“We’ve created a free-flowing space with room-settings to help inspire our customers whatever the style of their homes. There is also a mattress studio, a designated kid’s area and plenty of bedlinen and accessories alongside our usual range of beds and bedroom furniture. It’s a browsing and shopping space, designed to provide solutions for our customers to create perfect bedtimes for all the family.”

Further Feather & Black stores are planned for the next few years.
