BedzRus becomes rugby league official digital partner

BedzRus has become the official digital partner for the rugby league Dacia Magic Weekend and the Kingstone Press Summer Bash.

The two bumper weekends of rugby league will bring over 100,000 fans together to enjoy back-to-back action as the sport goes on the road for four days of the season, and BedzRus will play an important role in the digital coverage of the sport’s busiest weekends of the season.

The partnership has designed a range of entertaining and engaging activities for rugby league supporters that will take place ahead of, during and after the two weekends of action in May.

As part of the partnership, children’s divan beds will be given to every Super League and Championship club in England. The Bradford-based business has also teamed up with its supplier Deep Sleep Beds to provide a unique rugby divan set.

BedzRus has also brought former Super League winner and BBC rugby pundit Robbie Hunter-Paul on board, and he will present a weekly video blog on sleep wellbeing, covering a range of topics to help live a healthier life.

The blog posts and videos will look at the best ways to improve wellbeing through sleep by giving tips and advice, which have been approved by BedzRus’ staff and their expertise.

The family-run business specialises in supplying a range of high quality beds and mattresses at prices to suit everybody, as well as priding itself on next-day delivery. 

The programme kicks off with the fun ‘60 second pillow talk challenge’ which will be taken on first by stars of the game Sean O’Loughlin and Kurt Gidley and will run up to the weekend of the event featuring different players each week. There will be opportunities for fans, from all clubs, to vote for their half time activity, plus choose what activity will take place in the fanzone at St James’ Park.
