Matza invests in design specialist

West Yorkshire bed manufacturer Matza has strengthened its design-led sales credentials with the appointment of an architectural interior design specialist.

Aadilah Ayub is the company’s latest graduate apprentice and has a particular brief to research design trends and to work with customers to create bespoke looks for their white label beds. She will also help to develop Matza’s own label upholstered ranges.

Matza MD Asif Ayub says: “Aadilah has a flair for interior design and how it complements a home. With her architectural background, she brings an understanding of room sizes, layouts and construction – what will work and what won’t. I am already impressed with the mood boards she has been creating for us.”

Aadilah’s appointment is part of a drive by Matza to invest in skills and training among its employees.

The bedmaker is also working with its local Jobcentre Plus to offer work experience which could potentially lead to permanent jobs for the right people.

Matza is a well-established, family run business well known for its white label products as well as its own ranges of high quality, solidly built and well-designed bedframes, mattresses, divan bases and headboards.
